THE STORY

All of Names Jewellery pieces are made by hand in the Irish Design Store traditional workshop by owners Clare Grennan and Laura Caffery. Each style is named after a friend, family member or other woman who has inspired Clare and Laura.

Their ethos is that jewellery goes beyond the physical form - it is a sentiment of value we give to one another and hand down through generations.

We grow to notice the feeling of our jewellery - it's weight, form and texture. We carry it with us from morning to night.

Clare and Laura's purpose with Names is to create through contemporary styles and materials using traditional methods by hand, making each piece of unique character and worthy of generational exchange.

They wanted to create a visual identity that reflects all of these aspects of who they are.

THE RESPONSE

Our response was to create a series of still and moving imagery that could serve multi purposes, from In Store Branding to organic social media to paid advertising stills, reels and videos.

We worked with Clare and Laura's three main inspiration points

- The Irish Landscape, Dublin Architecture and Contemporary Street Culture as the basis of our idea. We grew from there by casting a mix of professional and non professional Street cast models of varying generations from early 20's to 50's

creating a collection of visual stories that can stand alone where relevant but also come together to tell a collective story.

We styled the shoots authentically to the brand ethos by partnering with other Independent Irish Clothing Brands which as well as feeling resonant, also creates opportunities for organic traction. The campaign has a long term view of populating the newly established Names socials interspersingly over the next 24 months as well as the Irish Design Shop and external press.
